3D objects from 2D photos

Imagine being able to create a 3D object from your 2D photos, then rotate it, change the shape, or even duplicate it!  This could be a new high (or low!) in photo manipulation, but the software was introduced as Siggraph 2013 that will do just that.  This appears to be something like Adobe’s Content Aware Fill on steroids!  Check out the video for more details.  I imagine the 3D objects could also be loaded into and used in 3D software.
